He was the head of the Circular Economy Office at the Ministry of the Environment of Chile (2018-2022), where he drove the EPR law and the 2040 Circular Roadmap. He is an industrial engineer from Universidad Católica de Chile and holds Master's degrees in Public Policy and Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley. He has also been a director at Espacio Público, consultant, and professor.
